Grapes: 80% Pecorino, 20% Chardonnay

ABV: 12.5%

Winemaker: Nicola Marchesani

Viniculture: Organic - one of the first organic vineyards in Italy, certified in 1978. Grapes are hand-harvested

Remelluri “Labastida” Rioja 2015

Grapes: 95% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha

ABV: 14%

Winemaker: Telmo Rodriguez

Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel, then transferred into oak barrels for 12 months.

Grapes: Nobody knows for sure

ABV: 12%

Winemaker: Noel & Jair Téllez 

Viniculture: Fully organic

Winemaking: Utterly natural. No intervention of any kind–just fermented grape juice, put into bottle.

Region: Valle de Guadalupe, Baja, Mexico

Grapes: Malbec 100%

ABV: 13%

Winemaker: Bernard and Cécile Croisille 

Viniculture: Organic, sustainable viticulture since 2010, grapes are hand-harvested

Winemaking: 20 day maceration on the skins, aging in old 225 liter oak barrels for 12 months.

Region: Cahors, Southwest France

Viniculture: Organically farmed, from one of the greatest vineyards in Oregon’s Willamette Valley

Winemaking: Blended across three vintages–2017, 2018, 2019. 

Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon, and 1% somewhere else :)
