Come meet Cameron Kontos owner/winemaker for Kontos Cellars a boutique winery located in Walla Walla. Kontos Cellars is a 1000 case winery that focuses on ultra premium Bordeaux varieties. Cameron believes that blending the same variety between vineyards and using a very extensive French/American oak program creates wonderful complexity, while allowing each grape to showcase its own inherent character. Working closely with vineyards such as Pepper Bridge, Seven Hills, Les Collines, Boushey and Stone Tree has continually given them beautiful fruit that is truely a cut above. Cameron was inspired by his father Cliff Kontos of Fort Walla Walla Cellars. Cameron began dreaming of this journey while on crush pads throughout the Walla Walla Valley. Come taste his new releases 2012 Gossamer White, 2010 Walla Walla Syrah, 2009 Merlot, 2009 Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2009 Alatus, a very limited and only produced in the best of all vintages
