Adult Signature is Required with delivery of all shipments containing alcohol. You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom you are directing delivery is a least 21 years old. The person receiving the delivery MUST show identification to the common carrier upon delivery proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. We strongly encourage using a business shipping address when possible to facilitate the carrier’s chances of collecting the adult signature as required by law.
We cannot ship wine to PO Box or APO addresses. We strongly encourage you to use a business shipping address due to age restrictions and signature requirements. Product will NOT be left at an address where a recipient is unavailable to provide the required adult signature.
We offer 3 shipping methods, or you may pick up your order at our facility. Weekend delivery is not available. We strongly encourage you to ship to a business address where someone will be available to comply with adult signature and age verification requirements. Numerous attempts may be required to deliver to a residential delivery address, and carriers will NOT leave wine packages unattended, even if you sign a release. We do not accept liability for any expense or loss resulting form failure to take delivery on the first attempt.

§ Pickup – Orders are charged to your card, packaged immediately, and held for pickup.
All shipping includes a handling fee to cover the cost of packaging materials, adult signature requirements, and replacement insurance.
Insurance: We package each shipment carefully and often use specially designed shipping material to get your order to you in pristine condition. We insure your package for replacement value, although insurance does not cover weather related damage (heat or freezing) or damage resulting from failure to take delivery on the first attempt. Please save the broken item and packing material, as the carrier has the right to inspect any damage. We handle any claim paperwork, please contact us immediately to report damage. We will first verifying insurance coverage. Where a replacement is available, we will ship it to you. Where replacement is not possible, we may refund all costs of purchase instead. Insurance claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of your order.
Unless you live on the West Coast, we discourage you from selecting “Ground Service” as your shipping method. During the winter and summer months, weather conditions (temperature) and longer delivery times can often result in spoilage of your order. It doesn’t make sense to invest in fine wines and then take the chance of ruining them due to environmental factors during transit. Faster and safer delivery generally isn’t much more expensive. We do not make an additional profit on accelerated delivery. In the event that you select Ground Shipping, we accept no liability for damage which occurs as a result of weather.
During periods of extreme weather, we attempt to ship wines at the beginning of each week in order to get shipments to you before the weekend. This is because we have no control over the temperature conditions at our freight carriers’ warehouses. The result may be that your shipment does not go out on the day that you place your order. Please understand that during business hours, your orders are immediately packaged and scheduled for delivery, but may be delayed until ideal conditions for shipment arise.
Order Processing
We attempt to package and ship your order on the same day we receive it. Sometimes, we are unable to process and ship the same day due to the time the order was received, or other factors. In this case, your order will be shipped the following day or as soon as weather permits. In the unlikely event that not all items are in stock, our policy is to contact you to discuss your order and available options. Our packaging and shipping charges accommodate bottles in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 bottle increments. For example, if you order 7 bottles – you will be charged shipping for the standard 12 bottle package.
Calculating Shipping Timeframes
When you are calculating shipping timeframes, please keep in mind that most carriers do not include the shipping day in their time calculations. For example: An order placed and shipped on Monday by 2nd Day Air would be delivered by end of day on Wednesday, and an order placed on Monday – but not shipped until Tuesday would be delivered by end of day on Thursday. You also have the option of picking up your order at our store.

Ohio – Consumers must obtain and file a signed copy of the Direct Shipment of Beer & Wine to Ohio Residents/Ohio Excise and Use Tax Filing Form” with the Ohio Division of Liquor Control within 30 days of receiving the shipment. We will provide this form and the necessary information to complete the form with each shipment to consumers in Ohio.

Alaska – Alaska allows shipping, however the shipping rates vary and some zip codes do not allow alcoholic beverages to be shipped. Please call to discuss you order.
District of Columbia – Only one bottle per month is allowed, therefore you will need to call us to place your order.
Minnesota – Order must be placed by fax, phone, or mail. Internet orders are EXPRESSLY prohibited.
We may ship to other states where compliance regulations allow. Please call us to discuss your order.
If you do not see your state listed above, we do not ship to your location due to compliance regulations.
Each state has its own laws governing the direct shipment of alcohol. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of Washington. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. When you place your order, title to the wine you order passes to you as soon as it leaves our doors; it is up to you to verify the laws in your state. In the unlikely event that a shipment is confiscated or insurance coverage is refused due to a violation of law, we reserve the right to withhold a refund or replacement. Taxes: Washington State sales tax applies to orders in being shipped to an address in Washington State. There are a few states to which we ship that require us to charge sales tax for shipping alcohol. If you are in one of those states, the additional tax will be listed during check out.
Cancellation, Return, Restocking Policy: No refund or exchange after your order has been shipped.
Due to the costs we incur from credit card companies, a 10% fee will be levied for orders cancelled prior to shipping, except in cases where an error has been made by us or wine shipping laws require cancellation of such and order. Where a carrier returns a shipment to us due to failure of the buyer to take delivery, all additional charges associated with this return, as well as future shipping charges to deliver it, will be charged to the buyer.
Tracking: We you notify you of your of tracking information by email.
Security and Privacy: We will never give, lease, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information. Period! Identity theft is on the rise. For your protection, we do not store your credit card information when you place an order. You will be required to enter a card number each time you make a purchase.
